NPC's

Alright should NPC's even be used in battle?

i used them but i have to say no cause even though they can be useful my own character should be enough

a yes and no thay can fight but no not real memebers thay can fight other npc

They should not be used as allies for one person in combat (like shinsui and his generals)

Mainly in situations like the lesser dragon where everything that happens is planned out by those involved for the story. NPC's should be mostly neutral and have an equal PL to those that they are fighting (or if there is a horde divided the total PL of the player characters by the number of NPC enemies.

NPC's are good as fillers in journeys and semi personal character RP stories.

NPC's will come along at times but they will be controlled by an admin, like lets say the plot goes on and a godly dragon appears before five players. It will be another account created by a admin and the admin will control that NPC.

It really is because then we could have special events in the forum such as "A Large beast has been seen stalking the Earth Kingdom, the first player to find the where abouts of this beast and kill it will be rewarded with (insert reward here)" Then going on with this we could give clues about where the NPC would be and it would be up to the players to make a topic in that place and make and RP in which the NPC would arrive and fight the player.

Lol, but then again it would be cool to see if people try to team up and split the reward or if some guy tries to be uber and does it himself lol. But now im thinking what kind of rewards they would be, they would have to be good, and maybe even one time rewards seeing as these NPC's we make will be pretty hard. Maybe we could start off with a test "Event" and see how it works out.

Yeah you could have weapons, items and stat boosts up for grabs
Maybe even special ranks (dragon slayer anyone?)
