Appearance: Cloud is 5'7'', has spiky blonde hair and piercing blue eyes. He wears almost completely black. He right arm has a long sleeve and a shoulder guard as well as a silver fox head that is attached to it. Cloud has a ‘strong silent type’ demeanor and posses a piercing stare. Cloud carries an exceptionally large sword that he is able to wield with one hand, and is equally adept with wielding it with either hand. Cloud rarely shows true emotion, but will act if the situation calls for it.

Personality: He's mainly quiet, stubborn, and doesn't seem to worry about what's going on around him. He has his own rules and shows open disdain towards authority figures who look down on him or get in his way. Cloud does have a softer side but it is rarely seen as he hates to be seen as soft or emotional.
Background
Cloud was not born in teh gentle gust region. He has a single memory of his birthplace, a name, Melphina. But once he became old enough to care for himself and travel alone Cloud left tp find this place. After years of searxhing Coud has visited every region extensively and to no avail, nor has he met anyone who has heard of such a place.
Cloud was raised in the Air Kingdom and was almost always a loner. He liked a girl named Tifa, but she didn’t pay attention to him. Cloud decided that if he joined Soldier, a special regiment of the Air Kingdoms forces, Tifa would notice him. One night Cloud asked Tifa to go meet him at the well and told her about his plan. Tifa made Cloud promise to come back and be her hero if he got famous.
Tifa, depressed about her mother’s death, decided to go up to the mountains and she almost died. Cloud was blamed and he left. Cloud never got to join soldier and became just a regular Shinra soldier. He was assigned to accompany Sephiroth and Zack to Nibelheim to find out about some monsters. Cloud hid his face when arriving and Tifa’s hope of Cloud appearing disappeared. When they went up to the reactor in the Nibelheim Mountains it was Cloud who was keeping Tifa out of the reactor while Sephiroth and Zack found the humans in the mako reactor and Sephiroth learned the truth about his birth soon after. The town was then destroyed in Sephiroth’s rage. Zack pulled an unconscious Cloud from the burning wreckage, who woke up in time to see Zack head for the Reactor. Soon after the reactor exploded and Cloud, along with Zack were taken away and imprisoned for several years years before Zack escaped and took Cloud wiuth him. They were headed to The rageing waters but on the way they were ambushed by the military and Zack was killed. Cloud who was left for dead survived and swore revenge. Cloud later found out that the military that had captured and imprioned them were not from teh Air region but from one of the other three.
Cloud became a mercenary soon after these events and is renowned as being highly efficient, if very secretive and non trusting of people.
Despite everything that happened to him Cloud remains good at heart, sometimes willing to help people in immediate danger. He has no time for the arrogant or the foolish. In teh midst of all this Cloud continues to Search for the place called Melphina.
RP Sample:
Cloud stabbed his sword into his stricken foe. The armoured figure was on the ground in front of him, crying for mercy but Cloud was deaf to his cries as he plunged his blade through his chest, cleaving flesh form bone and shattering his spine. Cloud turned to the dead mans comrades who numbered no more than seven and stood hesitantly only 10 paces away, after seeing Cloud dispatch one of their own so coldly, so ruthlessly their morale had been sapped. Cloud extracted his blade from the dead man with a hideous sucking sound as the flash released the blade.
With a flourish he whipped his blade to the side, spraying the mans blood onto the ground and leaving his sword clean. With cold detachment he began towards the remaining foes before him. They garnered whatever courage they had and rushed towards him, hoping to stop this demon that was bearing down on them.
Cloud ducked a careless swing and punished the wielder by impaling his midsection and forcing the blade upwards, splitting his spine in two. He swung the sword around with the already dead man still impaled to block a man wielding a mace. The man’s body was torn apart on impact leaving Cloud free to swing again. With speed that seemed impossible with such a blade Cloud blocked a blow from behind, his blade over his shoulder and flat against his back, point stuck firmly into the ground
The remaining 4 men took the opportunity to strike at him while his blade was occupied. Cloud jumped, holding the blade firmly embedded in the blood soaked earth and flipped backwards, kicking out at the mace wielders neck, hearing cartilage break on impact ad the man was down, choking as he held his neck.
Without hesitation Cloud knocked the man over onto his back and slammed his boot into the mans skull and proceeded to crush it with a loud and echoing crack that stopped the other 4 men in their tracks. Where Clouds foot was, there remained only a puddle of brain matter and broken skull fragments. Cloud drew his sword from the earth, swinging it at the hapless men, spraying sand into their faces. In an instant Cloud was upon them, beheading one man and cleaving off the upper left portion of another’s torso. Blood flew, splattering over Cloud, but he didn’t care, he was relentless, a machine.
The remaining two men made to flee and Cloud watched them go impassively, perhaps they thought he didn’t care about two men getting away… They were mistaken. Cloud held his blade in a reversed grip in front of him so that as he held the hilt in his right hand it was pointing left, and its leading edge began to glow. Cloud slashed the blade through the air sending a thin glowing blade of air parallel to the ground at his two remaining adversaries, the strike closing the ground in seconds, collecting them both across the small of their back and cutting into their spines paralysing them. Cloud would leave them for the vultures to feast on, if they were lucky they would die before them.
Cloud turned back to survey his work, a burning outpost was what anyone else would have seen, but all Cloud saw was his job done. He had been promised a handsome sum of gold to destroy it, and an additional 500 gold for every man that he killed. By Clouds total he had killed 7 men outside the outpost and 3 more on his arrival. Making for a very lucrative mission. He didn’t know whom the outpost belonged to, nor did he care, his job here was done. Cloud turned his back on the flames and set off back to the city. In the silhouette of the flames, covered in blood, he was a truly demonic presence to behold.
